There has never been an official definition for Neuro-Liquistic Programming (NLP) and now that NLP has been in the public domain for over 20 years, there never will be. Trainers and marketers keep coming up with new spins, but it is not really necessary. NLP is what it is, a smattering of concepts and models from some of the greatest minds the world of psychotherapy has known, distilled into workable models by John Grinder and Richard Bandler and their crew of early followers.
The models were never intended to masquerade as cookie-cutter techniques that lose touch with the underlying exploration of subjective experience, but that is the way of things!
Neuro refers to your neurology; Linguistic refers to language; Programming refers to how that neural language functions. In other words, learning NLP is like learning the language of your own mind!
I like to keep things simple so everybody can understand, so in short, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) are simple techniques we apply to retrain the brain to achieve a certain outcome.
Flip the switch and light up your life.
